What to expect
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Airport pickup and check-in to your Dal Lake houseboat. Evening sunset shikara ride past floating gardens; dinner on board.
Day 2: Gulmarg day trip
Drive to Gulmarg through pine forests. Ride the gondola towards Kongdoori, take in the meadows (or snow, in season), and return to Srinagar by evening.
Day 3: Pahalgam & Betaab Valley
Head to Pahalgam along the Lidder river. Walk Betaab Valley's film-famous meadows, with optional pony rides to Baisaran. Overnight in Srinagar or Pahalgam.
Day 4: Sonamarg excursion
A day in the Meadow of Gold: pony trek or short hike towards the Thajiwas glacier, picnic by the Sindh river, and back for a farewell dinner.
Day 5: Depart Srinagar
Morning at the Mughal gardens or Old City markets for saffron and walnuts, then airport transfer for your flight home.
