Refund & Cancellation Policy

Most of our services are fulfilled through third parties — airlines, hotels, visa authorities — so refunds follow their rules plus the terms below. Send cancellation requests in writing to info@yatramate.com or on WhatsApp.
Air tickets
- Cancellations and changes follow the airline's fare rules for your ticket; low-cost and promotional fares are often non-refundable.
- Airline cancellation charges and a YatraMate service fee are deducted from any refund.
- Refund timelines depend on the airline — we initiate the request as soon as we receive yours.
Tour packages
Unless a different schedule is stated in your booking confirmation, package cancellations follow these slabs (calculated on the total package cost):
- 30 days or more before departure — advance refunded minus processing charges.
- 15–29 days before departure — 50% cancellation charge.
- 7–14 days before departure — 75% cancellation charge.
- Less than 7 days before departure or no-show — no refund.
Visas & document attestation
- Government fees, embassy fees, and processing charges are non-refundable once an application or attestation has been submitted.
- A visa refusal by the authorities does not entitle you to a refund of fees already spent on processing.
- If you cancel before we begin processing, we refund what you've paid minus any costs already incurred.
Programs & memberships
Program-specific terms — such as the redemption of the Freelance Program joining fee or security deposit, and extensions under the Dubai Job Seeker's Package — are as described on their pages and in your agreement at the time of joining.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are initiated within 7–14 business days of confirmation and are paid to the original payment method. Time taken to reflect in your account depends on your bank and the supplier.
